About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is now hiring for a professional, customer-service oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team! This position ensures the effective, client focused, management of all referrals for the assigned service(s). As a Veterinary Referral Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for referred clients managing their referral from originating appointment through close of case.

Requirements

• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new appointments for the assigned specialty ensuring DVM(s) have record of new appointments.
• Resolve any case-related concerns prior to appointment.
• Maintain assigned specialty service(s) email and follows departmental email triage procedures.
• Gather pertinent information to ensure client understands financial obligations.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and potential clients in their assigned specialty service(s).
• Work with primary DVMs regarding requests and routine questions.
• Provide primary care DVMs bloodwork/test results to keep them informed regarding referred clients.
• Ensure necessary communication regarding treatment is provided timely and documented appropriately.
• Provide support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the administrative components of clinical referrals for various services.
