About The Position
Altitude Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist. This role is for a friendly, organized individual who will be the welcoming face of the hospital. As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a vital role in creating an exceptional client experience and ensuring the hospital runs smoothly. Requirements
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or front office experience; veterinary experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning veterinary software
- Ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Additional office management training is a plus
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and coordinate daily client communications
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Process invoices and collect payments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Assist with mail, deliveries, inventory, and general administrative duties
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience
- Help maintain an organized and professional front office environment
