About The Position

Kiel Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist for their busy mixed animal clinic. This full-time role is the first point of contact for clients, playing an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both clients and their animals. As a mixed animal practice, every day brings something different. The receptionist will help keep the front desk organized, communication flowing, and clients supported while working closely with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with a friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries
  • Check clients and patients in and out of the clinic
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members
  • Assist with the day-to-day organization and flow of the clinic
  • Provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional customer service
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Manage a variety of responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude
  • Multitask effectively while keeping client and patient needs at the center of what you do
  • Jump in and contribute wherever needed to support your teammates and the clinic
