Requirements

• Previous veterinary receptionist or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate, professional attitude toward clients, patients, and coworkers
• Confidence working with computers and learning veterinary software
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset
• Passion for providing exceptional client service

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar
• Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
• Process payments and review invoices with clients
• Communicate with clients regarding appointments, reminders, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Support an efficient hospital workflow while creating a positive client experience
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and support staff to ensure outstanding patient care
