About The Position
Amici Pet Hospital is hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience for clients while helping the entire hospital run smoothly. The reception team is more than the front desk; they are often the first friendly voice a client hears, the welcoming face they see, and the person helping keep communication flowing between pet owners and the medical team. Responsibilities
- Warmly welcoming clients and patients
- Answering and directing high-volume phone calls
- Providing professional and compassionate telephone service
- Checking patients in and out
- Supporting appointment scheduling and daily workflow
- Updating client and patient records
- Processing payments accurately
- Communicating clearly with clients and fellow team members
- Helping clients navigate questions and next steps
- Performing general clerical and administrative duties
- Supporting veterinarians, technicians, and fellow reception team members
- Helping maintain an organized and efficient front desk
- Contributing to a positive client experience from the first phone call through the end of the visit
