About The Position

North Airline Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team in Bossier City, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, compassionate, and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and is passionate about providing outstanding client service. Please note: This role is intended for experienced applicants only. Candidates without prior veterinary receptionist or veterinary customer service experience will not be considered. Our CSRs are the face of our hospital and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and professional experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary medicine experience OR 3 years of customer service and/or office experience
• Veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, medical reception, or animal hospital experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
• Comfortable working with clients, pets, and a busy schedule
• Basic computer skills and scheduling software experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily veterinary appointment calendar
• Answer phones and respond to client questions regarding services and patient care
• Check clients in and out while processing invoices and payments accurately
• Maintain detailed and accurate client/patient records within veterinary software systems
• Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
• Deliver exceptional customer service during both routine and emotional situations
• Manage high call volumes while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
