About The Position

Our state-of-the-art dermatology practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced receptionist to join our dynamic team. Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing the highest quality of specialty care to pets with acute and chronic skin conditions. ADG has over 40 locations nationwide. With over 90 doctors supporting the ADG medical team, they strive to lead in clinical practice, research and education in our field. In additional to providing advanced, dermatology specialized care to patients and supporting general practice veterinarians in our geographic service areas, ADG participates in drug/product development and clinical trials. ADG also has the largest dermatology residency program approved by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology to support the training of the next generation of dermatologists.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Need to be organized.
  • Adaptability
  • Efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with veterinary practice management software.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of veterinarian and staff time.
  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information.
  • Process client payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Maintain client records and ensure data accuracy in the practice management system.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the veterinary team.
