About The Position

Bedford Veterinary Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-doctor hospital that offers personal, progressive, and comprehensive animal care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets in the Southern New Hampshire area. They practice the highest quality medicine while providing pets and clients with the utmost care and compassion. The hospital offers many services including annual wellness care, anesthesia and sedation, dentistry, internal medicine, laser therapy, an in-house pharmacy, surgery, urgent/immediate care, and acupuncture. They are supported by a positive, experienced support staff and excellent clientele, and are well equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, dental x-ray, and a complete in-house laboratory. Their sister hospital in Hudson, Lowell Road Veterinary Center, offers rehabilitation services such as underwater treadmill therapy, massage therapy, laser therapy, and modality exercises. The center aims to ensure clients and pets have a comfortable experience, feeling like an extended part of the Bedford Veterinary Medical Center’s family. The location in tax-free Southern New Hampshire offers beaches, mountains, and city life, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and an excellent place to live and/or raise a family.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Receptionist

  • Nights and weekends shifts included

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years veterinary experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
