About The Position

Yukon Veterinary Hospital provides a wide range of services including vaccinations, routine medical care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, dental care, weight management, and internal medicine. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment for in-house laboratory diagnostics, digital radiology, and ultrasonography. The staff is composed of friendly, caring, and well-trained professionals, including receptionists, licensed veterinary technicians, and doctors dedicated to providing excellent care for pets. The team strives to make the client experience comfortable.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred.
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator.
Highly organized.
Possess computer skills.
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
Availability needed 7am-6pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.
Authorization and completion of a satisfactory background check may be required for hiring eligibility.

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area.
Greet and welcome clients and patients.
Answer questions and triage client concerns.
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution.
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow.
Check in and check out clients and process payments.
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients.
Be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
Be aware of potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.
