Part-time Veterinary Receptionist
About The Position
The Troy & Wentzville Veterinary Clinics are seeking a Part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions, triaging client concerns, and handling calls or emails. The receptionist will also schedule appointments to maximize efficiency, check clients in and out, and process payments. A key aspect of this role is providing compassionate and discreet emotional support to clients during times of need, and being comfortable with various medical outcomes. The position requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises, and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. Opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development are available.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- Greet and welcome clients and patients

- Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Check in and check out clients
- Process payments
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
