About The Position

Northfield Veterinary Hospital is growing and seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who thrives in a busy, high-energy environment. This is a full-time position at a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in Denver’s Northfield/Central Park neighborhood. They offer a wide range of services including wellness and senior care, cold laser therapy, nutritional counseling, specialty soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and advanced dentistry.

Requirements

  • Previous veterinary client service or reception experience required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Provide exceptional client service in a busy veterinary environment
  • Manage incoming phone calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule appointments and help maintain an efficient multi-doctor calendar
  • Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate information
  • Process invoices and collect payments
  • Communicate hospital services, policies, and next steps clearly and professionally
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and assistants to support efficient patient flow
  • Manage medical record requests, reminders, and other administrative tasks
  • Handle client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Support teammates as needed to keep the hospital running smoothly
