Veterinary Receptionist/ Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center is an AAHA accredited, 4- doctor, general practice in Spokane Valley, WA. Our commitment to compassionate veterinary care extends to dogs, cats, exotics, pocket pets, and fish. From preventative care and wellness exams to surgery and therapeutic laser therapy, our comprehensive range of services is designed to meet all our patients' needs.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
Nice To Haves
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
