Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
About The Position
South Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. South Shores Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited, 7-doctor, full-service small animal hospital located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada. We strive to provide warm, compassionate, high-quality care in additional to excellent client service. We offer medical care, boarding, and grooming for small animals as well as exotics, and have rehabilitation and reproduction services available. Our hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, surgical laser & cold laser, and recently underwent an expansion of our treatment area. Our dedicated team is supportive, easy going and fun to work with.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
Nice To Haves
- Veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related experience preferred
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
