About The Position

The Veterinary Receptionist/CSR plays a vital role in providing excellent client service. This position involves greeting clients, checking them in, taking payments, making appointments, answering calls, and entering clients/patients into the practice software. The CSR also provides support to surgeons and other employees to ensure high-quality patient and client care. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, reliable, able to communicate clearly, prioritize tasks, work independently, and pay close attention to detail. The CSR works an 8 or 10-hour shift scheduled Monday - Friday.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems within the guidelines of CVSS policy and basic patient care principles
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
  • Basic data entry and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • One year in customer service preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
