Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
About The Position
Foothill Farms Veterinary is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital believes in providing a Fear Free experience for people and patients. We provide a broad spectrum of procedures, sound advice, and stress-free veterinary care to small animals and pocket pets. In addition to general wellness, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, our team also provides holistic services (such as acupuncture), practices Reiki, and works closely with specialists for more intensive procedures and orthopedics. Our facility is well-equipped and full of incredible teammates who love people as much as they do animals. Our RVTs are well-utilized and many of our staff members are Fear Free certified professionals. Easily accessed off Auburn Blvd, our hospital is in a great location about 10 miles from downtown Sacramento.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
Nice To Haves
- Veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related experience preferred
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
