About The Position

Belvoir Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Belvoir Pet Hospital is a busy, five-doctor practice offering the highest quality of medicine small animals in our community. We are proudly AAHA-accredited. We deeply value serving our clientele, and in some families we have cared for several generations of clients and their beloved pets. We have numerous fully utilized CVTs, a proactive Hospital Manager, and a fantastic support staff team, and we're well equipped with excellent medical technology. Our primary services are comprehensive, including everything from general wellness and preventative care to advanced dentistry and surgery. We have a great location off Mayfield Road, about nine miles from downtown Cleveland, and are eager to welcome a new team member to our high-caliber team.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience required
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
