About The Position

Poulsbo Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Poulsbo Animal Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor small animal practice operating in a modern, spacious facility with designated feline-friendly areas to reduce stress for our cat patients. As a fast-paced clinic that regularly handles urgent care cases and performs a variety of orthopedic surgeries, we offer a dynamic environment supported by comprehensive in-house services, including a full pharmacy, laboratory, surgery suite, and dental suite. Our dedicated team works closely with every client to ensure each pet receives the personalized, attentive care they deserve. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
