About The Position

Allentown Animal Care is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of its veterinary hospital. The Practice Manager partners with the Lead Veterinarian and Community Veterinary Partners to support the team, deliver excellent client service, and meet hospital goals. The role includes working occasional hospital shifts as needed.

Community Veterinary Partners provides veterinary teams with resources and support so they can focus on exceptional care for pets and their families.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of veterinary hospital management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency or specialty veterinary experience preferred.
• College education preferred.
• Veterinary practice management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hospital team members.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee daily hospital operations, facility needs, inventory, and equipment.
• Address client concerns and promote a positive patient and client experience.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Partner with hospital leadership on budgeting, financial performance, payroll, and purchasing.
• Support marketing, community outreach, and client communication efforts.
• Manage administrative systems, meetings, and other hospital processes.
• Work occasional hospital shifts as needed.
