About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Oncologist to join their collaborative team at their Los Angeles, CA, location. This role offers the opportunity to practice advanced oncology in one of Southern California’s most established specialty hospitals, which is fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. The position is supported by a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team and a strong, loyal referral community across the greater Los Angeles area. The hospital is a premier specialty and emergency hospital known for delivering advanced, high-quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. It has been serving the community since 1980 and remains a cornerstone of emergency and specialty care in the region. The hospital also serves as the primary veterinary blood and anti-venom bank for the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area, supporting critical cases such as snake bites and severe trauma emergencies. The hospital is equipped with advanced facilities and equipment including digital radiography, advanced imaging capabilities, a CT (CAT scan) and C-arm fluoroscopy unit, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, a dedicated ICU and inpatient care units, laparoscopic and arthroscopic equipment, a LigaSure device for minimally invasive surgery, surgical stapling technology, and advanced surgical suites. Veterinarians use innovative procedures, high-tech equipment, and the latest treatment methods to provide comprehensive medical care to pets, combining expertise with a love for animals and the belief that kindness is the foundation of veterinary medicine.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Residency-Trained in Veterinary Oncology
  • Ability to practice advanced oncology
  • Willingness to shape the Oncology service
