About The Position

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialists (PSVS) is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join their team in Gig Harbor, Washington. PSVS is a new specialty hospital focused on breaking the mold of veterinary medicine by prioritizing quality of life and work-life balance. They emphasize a horizontal team structure where all staff are highly valued, evidenced by a shared bonus structure. PSVS is expanding and ready to hire additional technicians, and is open to hiring preferred technicians along with the new hire. This is a rare opportunity for a visionary Oncologist to build their specialty service with the support of existing specialties (surgery, internal medicine) and a 24-hour ER service. The hospital boasts a state-of-the-art, 21,000 sq ft facility with a dedicated oncology suite, and advanced equipment including a 64-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood bank, I-131 therapy, and more. The ideal candidate is board-certified with experience, values compassionate care, promotes teamwork and inclusivity, and aligns with the hospital's core values and vision. Team members also have the opportunity to participate in global outreach through a partnership with World Vets.
