About The Position

Sunbury Animal Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their passionate nursing team. This role is suited to a qualified Veterinary Nurse with 2+ years’ experience who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to patient and client care. The clinic offers roster flexibility, no after-hours work, and no Sundays. The role involves supporting veterinarians, delivering high-standard nursing care, providing client education, assisting with diagnostics and procedures, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2+ years’ clinical nursing experience
  • A passion for high standards of patient care and learning
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A team-first mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Good organisation and time-management skills
  • A genuine desire to grow and develop within a supportive clinic

Responsibilities

  • Supporting veterinarians across consultations, surgery, dentistry, and patient care
  • Delivering gold-standard nursing care and anaesthetic monitoring
  • Providing excellent client communication and education
  • Assisting with diagnostics, procedures, and general nursing duties
  • Working as part of a close-knit, highly skilled nursing team
