About the Role This position is primarily focused on general practice, including hands-on patient care, client education, surgical assistance, and supporting routine and preventative medicine. You will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure every patient receives high-quality, compassionate care. For those interested in expanding their skillset, there is also an opportunity to gain experience in our urgent care setting, assisting with more fast-paced and critical cases. This optional cross-training allows technicians to broaden their clinical abilities and gain confidence in emergency-style care while still maintaining a strong foundation in general practice. Requirements

• 1+ years previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (general practice and/or emergency experience preferred)
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiography
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pace environment while maintaining excellent patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client education
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Flexibility to support both general practice and, if desired, urgent care shifts

Nice To Haves

• Veterinary Technician certification/license preferred
• Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, including safe restraint, nursing care, and monitoring during exams and treatments
• Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Perform technical skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography, and laboratory sample collection
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical recovery
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments with accurate medical record documentation
• Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-visit instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
