About The Position

Select Sires, Inc. is seeking individuals to join their team as Veterinary Medicine Interns at their Plain City, OH facility. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Chief Veterinarian. The internship is open to current graduate veterinary students and offers opportunities in both the spring and summer. Select Sires is committed to enhancing the productivity and profitability of dairy and beef producers by providing highly fertile semen and genetic consultation, positioning itself as the industry leader in supplying the world's best genetics, services, and programs.

Requirements

• Reliable means of transportation to report to work on time.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• A positive attitude with a passion for learning.
• Current graduate veterinary student.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive representative of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.
• Assist with sample collection, physical exams, reproductive exams, treatment of bulls and export paperwork.
