About The Position
AVECCC Emergency Veterinary Kennel Assistant is a full-time opportunity in Gilbert, AZ. The schedule is Full-Time Mid Shift from 12 PM to 12 AM, Sunday through Tuesday. AVECCC, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, offers a unique training program with many opportunities to learn and grow. The role involves ensuring patients feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, supporting the team through effective communication and a positive work environment, and providing compassionate client service. The position also requires maintaining high standards of patient care by following hospital protocols and contributing to a collaborative hospital culture that values teamwork, respect, and continuous learning. AVECCC is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and critical care hospital with highly skilled doctors providing complex treatments. The clinical team collaborates with specialists in neurology, internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, and surgery to deliver top-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with clients and their pets
- Familiarity with common dog and cat breeds
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
- Education, training, or experience in the veterinary field
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
