About The Position

Wieuca Animal Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Kennel Technician to provide care for hospitalized pets. This role involves feeding, walking, cleaning kennels, monitoring pet health, and assisting the veterinary team. The clinic is a progressive, 5-doctor companion animal practice offering comprehensive care, and is located in Sandy Springs, GA, near Atlanta.

Requirements

• Experience working with animals (preferred, but will train the right human)
• Calm, patient, and kind demeanor
• Ability to handle enthusiastic tail wags and dramatic animals
• Not afraid of fur on scrubs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to do a lot of walking, cleaning, and handle occasional messes

Responsibilities

• Providing top-tier TLC to hospitalized pets
• Feeding, walking, cuddling, and reassuring furry guests
• Cleaning kennels
• Monitoring pet health and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
