Requirements

At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs
Strong communication and professionalism
Ability to maintain confidentiality and positive working relationships
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to regularly lift and transport up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move throughout the hospital during shifts

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of veterinary inventory, medical supplies, and hospital operations
Veterinary Technician education or CVT/LVT credentials
Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and veterinary software systems

Responsibilities

Receive, verify, unpack, and stock deliveries of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, laboratory supplies, food, office supplies, and other items.
Organize storage areas.
Rotate inventory using FEFO/FIFO practices.
Monitor stock levels and expiration dates.
Assist with inventory counts.
Help maintain accurate records.
Restock treatment areas, exam rooms, surgery, ICU, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments.
Help prepare supplies for hospital staff.
Assist with inventory ordering, purchase orders, vendor returns, product recalls, documentation, and special inventory projects.
Help keep stockrooms, refrigerators, freezers, and supply areas clean, organized, and compliant with hospital protocols and manufacturer recommendations.
