About The Position
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Rockville, Maryland is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Internist to join their collaborative and growing team. This role offers the chance to practice advanced medicine in a thriving specialty environment, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and a wide range of specialty services, focusing on exceptional patient care through collaboration and innovation. The current specialty team includes boarded clinicians in Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology, with established partnerships with board-certified Neurologists and Cardiologists within the building. The culture emphasizes teamwork and continuous learning, with regular doctor topic rounds, in-house continuing education, and collaborative case discussions. The hospital is a 33,000-square-foot facility that has become a premier destination for advanced veterinary care in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. region since its establishment in 2014. Internists have access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources, including a mechanical ventilator, high-flow oxygen therapy, lithotripsy laser, MRI, 64-slice CT scanner, ultrasound, minimally invasive scoping equipment, an isolation unit, and an in-house Antech reference laboratory. Additional conveniences include free parking and easy access to major commuting routes, with nearby amenities.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Internist.
