Peak Paws Advanced Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Hospital Assistant to join our team. Full-time team members work 36 hours across 4 days per week, with schedules posted at least one month in advance so you can plan ahead. Requirements
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Comfortable around dogs and cats
- Able to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work weekends and weekdays, with schedules accommodating college semesters
Responsibilities
- Assist with in-hospital patient care and outpatient diagnostics/treatments
- Obtain TPRs, walk patients, and administer oral medications
- Support blood draws, x-rays, and other technical procedures
- Help technicians and assistants with patient care duties
- Maintain cleanliness of patient areas, organize supplies, and handle laundry
- Learn and adapt to new tasks as needed
