We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves cats and being part of a fun, supportive team. Requirements

1+ years of veterinary experience
Experience rooming patients
Surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used
Placing IV catheters
Drawing blood and running bloodwork
Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
Experience with proper feline handling and restraint
Understanding the importance of client education
Being a positive and motivating team member
Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Blood draws
Placing IV catheters
Sub-Q / IM injections
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint (Not opposed to scruffing)
Works at a fast, efficient pace
Understand the importance of excellent communication and customer service skills
Minimum of 1 year experience in animal handling and treatments
Must be available for a 10-hour Monday shift and a 5/6-hour Saturday shift
