About The Position

MedVet's Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP) is an accelerated training program designed for new or recent graduates passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and becoming outstanding ER doctors. This program provides veterinarians with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as an Emergency Clinician within an organization owned and led by veterinarians, committed to the highest quality of specialty healthcare. The ECMP is a 1-year training program followed by a 1-year commitment as an ER clinician at the training hospital. It begins with mentored training and specialty rotations to build ER clinical expertise, and in the second year, participants become full ER doctors earning salary plus production pay.

Requirements

DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your program.
Employment interview with background check.
Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty members with knowledge of applicant’s clinical abilities and communication skills (for new grads).
