About The Position

The Emergency Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Center in Eugene-Springfield, OR is seeking a second Criticalist to join their highly experienced 24/7 ER team in a brand new 12,000+ square foot VECCS certified facility. The hospital has a legacy of providing exceptional emergency care since 1978 and the new, state-of-the-art facility includes advanced treatment facilities, ORs, and a Toshiba 128 slice CT unit. They foster a culture of collaboration and wellness to enable doctors and support staff to practice in an environment that fosters quality of life, professional development, and excellent care. The hospital has been AAHA accredited since 2008, and their commitment to these standards enables associates to practice the best quality of medicine. The Criticalist will be working closely with the Medical Director and practice owner, Dr. Max Rinaldi, and the Hospital Administrator, Dave Berg. Requirements

  • Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
  • Board certification or residency completion in Critical Care.
  • Experience in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 ER team environment.
  • Commitment to quality of life, professional development, and excellent patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advanced treatment facilities, ORs, and CT units.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care to emergency veterinary patients.
  • Collaborate with the existing ER team and Medical Director.
  • Practice high-quality medicine in a VECCS certified and AAHA accredited facility.
