About The Position

VCA Carrollwood Cat Hospital is hiring a Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of their AAHA-accredited, exclusively feline practice in Tampa, FL. This role is for someone who is outgoing, organized, and energized by helping cats and their people. The hospital is cat-only, with a calm, quiet lobby and gentle handling techniques designed for feline patients. The Client Service Representative sets the tone for the hospital and builds trust and confidence with clients.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering phones, and guiding clients and their cats to exam rooms with a calm, reassuring touch
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and outreach to prospective clients
• Presenting and explaining fees, and processing payments
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
• Answering questions about products and services, and educating clients on feline-specific care (preventive care, behavior, flea and tick control, etc.)
• Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
• Maintaining a clean, neat hospital inside and out, including handling pet "accidents"
• Help create and maintain a calm, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients
• Deliver an outstanding client experience to win the confidence of every cat parent
