About The Position

VCA Warm Springs Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join their growing AAHA accredited veterinary hospital. This role is integral to the hospital's operation, focusing on providing exceptional animal care and phenomenal service to clients. The position offers a full-time schedule with approximately four 10-hour shifts per week. The hospital aims to create a positive and engaging work environment where team members feel happy and excited to contribute.

Requirements

• Experience as a Client Service Representative.
• Ability to work approximately four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Proficiency in customer service functions.
• Experience with scheduling and appointment confirmation.
• Experience with outbound calling for follow-ups and client outreach.
• Ability to present and explain fees and process payments.
• Knowledge of animal husbandry and non-medical pet care is a plus.
• Experience managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Familiarity with AAHA accreditation standards.
• Knowledge of veterinary products and services.
• Experience educating clients on pet care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for clients and their pets.
• Contribute ideas for improving care and service delivery.
• Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and to reach out to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
• Answer questions regarding products and services.
• Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, including removal of animal waste, both inside and outside.
