About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our veterinary team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming, compassionate, and organized experience while supporting our veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or veterinary customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
  • Answer multi-line phones and respond to client inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and obtain accurate patient medical histories.
  • Verify patient vaccination records, immunization status, and required testing.
  • Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
  • Process invoices, collect payments, and explain charges when needed.
  • Fill prescription medications, prescription diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Accurately maintain patient records and enter information into veterinary practice management software.
  • Support daily front desk operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
