About The Position

Scout Veterinary Urgent Care is looking for an experienced, compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. As a CSR, you will be the first point of contact for pet families seeking urgent care, playing a critical role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and empathetic experience. Your work will set the tone for the entire visit and ensure smooth coordination between clients and the clinical team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Comfort with fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environments
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in veterinary urgent care or emergency settings
  • Familiarity with veterinary software and digital platforms
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
  • Communicate clearly about wait times, services, and costs
  • Handle payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support digital record keeping and client communications
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby area, and exam rooms.
