About The Position

Animal Care Center of Carters Creek is seeking an outgoing and highly organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (Client Liaison) to serve as a key connection between our clients, patients, and veterinary team. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, and help coordinate important aspects of patient care. Responsibilities include managing hospital inventory and ordering, online pharmacy approvals, coordinating specialty and referral appointments, and assisting with reception and front-desk responsibilities as needed. You will also support clients with questions and essential information regarding their pets' care and our hospital services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative veterinary environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary client service, reception, or similar client-facing role within a veterinary or healthcare setting
  • Experience managing inventory, ordering hospital supplies, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with the veterinary team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially ezyVet, preferred
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing and processing online pharmacy approval requests accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinating specialty, referral, and outside veterinary appointments, including communicating necessary information between clients, specialists, and the veterinary team
  • Assisting with reception and front-desk responsibilities as needed, including multi-line phones and in-person client interactions
  • Accurately processing payments and maintaining financial records
