Veterinary Cardiologist
About The Position
Guardian Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join their team. This is a privately-owned, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in upper Westchester County, NY. The hospital is equipped with advanced imaging and diagnostic tools, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound. The cardiology department diagnoses and treats a wide range of cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure, congenital and acquired heart diseases, arrhythmias, and pericardial/pleural space disease. Advanced treatment resources include echocardiograms, angiography, balloon valvuloplasty, cardiac CT, Holter monitoring, pacemaker implantation, and more.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Cardiology.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Love of animals and a passion to help and heal.
- Desire to continually learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiac conditions in animals.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment resources, including echocardiograms, angiography, balloon valvuloplasty, cardiac CT, Holter monitoring, pacemaker implantation, and pericardiocentesis.
- Practice the highest quality of medicine.
- Work collaboratively with a team of specialists and veterinary support staff.
- Be open to working overnights.
