About The Position

VCA Baring Blvd Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support its Doctor and Technician teams and help create a positive, low-stress experience for clients and patients. The Veterinary Assistant helps build customer trust and confidence while contributing to exceptional patient care.

The role includes assisting with examinations and routine procedures, obtaining patient histories and vitals, filling prescriptions as permitted by law, performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging, caring for hospitalized animals, maintaining medical records, assisting doctors and technicians, and keeping the hospital clean and safe. The position is full-time, requires Monday-through-Saturday availability, and pays $18–$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Restrain patients and assist with examinations and routine procedures.
