Veterinary Assistant (VA) - West LA
About The Position
Modern Animal is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for its West LA location. The role supports high-quality general practice veterinary care, including dental procedures, and offers the opportunity to develop dental skills. The assistant works collaboratively with a supportive team, builds trusting relationships with clients and coworkers through empathy and integrity, represents the clinic in the community, and contributes to a positive clinic culture. The position requires at least two years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related role. The hourly pay range is $22–$26, with potential sign-on bonus and equity grant units depending on the position and compensation package.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related role.
- Strong general practice or dental experience, or a passion to grow in this area.
- Communicate with empathy and act with integrity.
- Interest in contributing to a workplace culture that is transforming veterinary medicine.
