About The Position

The Village Animal Clinic is looking for the newest part-time member of our assistant/reception team for our popular veterinary practice. Applicants should be experienced in delivering top-notch client service, should enjoy working with the public and their pets, and should be able to work effectively and supportively as a team member. Experience with veterinary practice is preferred, but attitude, ability, and enthusiasm are our highest priorities. Enjoying a challenge, being able to multitask, and making clients feel important and warmly welcomed are essential personality traits. We offer great career opportunities. The part-time hours average from approximately 26 to 28 hours weekly. This opportunity gives the applicant a chance to work in an exciting and stimulating environment with great coworkers.

Requirements

• Experience with veterinary practice is preferred, but attitude, ability, and enthusiasm are our highest priorities.
• Animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
