Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
VCA College Park Animal Hospital is seeking a caring and motivated Veterinary Assistant to help deliver compassionate, exceptional patient care and create positive, low-stress experiences for clients and patients. The AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified hospital has served its community for over 50 years and offers advanced medical technology and a collaborative team culture. The role may suit an experienced Veterinary Assistant or a technician in training. The hospital is located at 1203 Cleveland Ave suite 2, East Point, GA 30344. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and help maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
- Educate and care for clients.
- Assist with pharmacy and medication administration.
- Collect and process laboratory samples.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain medical records.
