About The Position

Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to help create positive experiences for pets and their families while supporting doctors and technicians in delivering high-quality veterinary care. The role contributes to pets feeling safe and comfortable, smooth appointments and procedures, clear client communication, and a clean, organized hospital. The clinic describes its environment as collaborative, with team members supporting one another, continuing to learn, and taking pride in their work.

The schedule is a day shift with 10–12-hour shifts and every weekend required. Compensation is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Requirements

• Passion for working with animals.

• Dependability, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Previous veterinary assistant experience.
• Interest in growing within veterinary medicine.
• Familiarity with animal handling and restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Help pets feel safe and comfortable during visits.
