About The Position

VCA River is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their overnight emergency and ICU team. This role is at an AAHA-accredited emergency and specialty animal hospital in Chattanooga, TN. The hospital fosters a positive culture of trust, support, and teamwork, aiming to provide world-class medicine with hometown care. The position supports the 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care service by providing care, diagnostics, and treatments for patients.

Requirements

• Proficient in veterinary assisting duties including those listed above
• One or more years of veterinary assisting experience
• Available to work some weekends to meet scheduling needs

Nice To Haves

• Experience with emergency & critical care and specialty medicine preferred
