Veterinary Assistant (VA) - NOPA
About The Position
Modern Animal is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to provide high-quality general practice care and contribute to a compassionate, inclusive, human-centered clinic culture. The role involves using technical skills in general practice, including dental procedures or a willingness to develop in this area, while collaborating with a supportive team and building trusting relationships with clients and coworkers. The position also represents Modern Animal as a compassionate partner in the community. The stated pay range is $36.00–$40.80 per hour. Base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. A sign-on bonus of up to $8,000 and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Veterinary Technician License.
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a technician or in a related role.
- Bring strong general practice or dental experience, or a passion to grow in that area.
- Communicate with empathy and act with integrity.
- Want to contribute to a culture that is transforming veterinary medicine.
