About The Position

Petfolk is hiring a Veterinary Assistant for its Wellington Petcare Center. The role supports wellness and sick-patient care in a tech-enabled, collaborative veterinary environment focused on empathy, Fear Free practices, and a low-stress experience for pets and pet parents. The Veterinary Assistant works alongside the care team, supports clinical procedures and exams, and helps provide an exceptional experience for pet parents. Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in veterinary clinical care.
Comfort with venipuncture, surgical and dental assistance, and exams.
Advocate for Fear Free, force-free, low-stress handling techniques.
Tech-savvy, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a strong team orientation.
Passion for continual learning and professional growth.
Enjoy working with both pets and people.
