About The Position

Crystal Springs Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support their doctors in delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care. Requirements

  • 2+ years of veterinary experience preferred
  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and dental radiography strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and client education skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • RVT license preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with surgical, dental, and diagnostic procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, dental radiographs, and laboratory sample processing
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding treatments and recommendations
  • Support efficient appointment flow by anticipating team needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area
  • Participate in team training and continuing education
