Veterinary Assistant - MRI
About The Position
Our BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Team! As a MRI Veterinary Assistant, you will perform patient intake and triage, set-up and troubleshoot MRI room and machine, operate diagnostic imaging equipment (primarily MRI) and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images. You will also perform venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement, provide clear and concise discharge instructions to clients, and maintain accurate records, including patient history, treatment details, and client communication. Additionally, you will assist with the completion of cost estimates, perform diagnostics (i.e: CBC, Chem Panel, NOVA, iSTAT, UA), and work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care. You will maintain open communication with the Neurology Clinicians.
Requirements
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
