Valley Veterinary Hospital in New Milford Connecticut is currently looking for responsible, compassionate and dedicated caretaker for our hospitalized, day care and boarding patients. Requirements
- Weekend shift coverage is mandatory
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance (under 30 minutes is recommended)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Stocking supplies daily
- Laundry
- Assisting with holding pets for services including x-rays
- Cleaning and sanitizing rooms and surgical instruments
- Assisting Technicians with surgical prep
- Maintain and clean the kennels and boarding cages
- Let pets out
- Feed pets
- On occasion bathe and dry dogs
