About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a full-time Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join their team of specialists. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Radiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Emergency, and Surgery. The position offers opportunities for advanced training and involves engaging with pet owners, providing clear communication on medical conditions and treatment plans, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in PA.
Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent)
Expertise in anesthesia protocols, analgesia, and perioperative patient management
Proficiency in monitoring anesthesia across a wide range of surgical and critical care cases
Strong knowledge of anesthetic equipment, ventilators, and patient monitoring systems
Ability to manage emergency and high-risk anesthesia cases
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
