All staff participates in continuing education programs which, combined with the above, enables us to reach our goal of providing the ultimate level of care for your animal. We offer veterinary services for a wide range of animals, including cats and dogs. We are seeking an additional veterinarian to join our growing team! We are currently offering up to a $50K Sign-On Package for this opening! Our practice is excited to offer a unique professional development opportunity. We are a successful, steady-paced, and team-focused small animal practice, and we are excited to welcome a new generation of DVMs! This position comes with a great multi-site opportunity at our sister location, Grantsburg Animal Hospital in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Just over the border, our second location provides additional opportunities to our clients, helping our cohesive team achieve even more lifelong relationships within our community. Our practices currently has an ideal doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio. Our technical staff is highly utilized, ensuring that their doctors always have an extra hand and can manage their time as needed. We foster a supportive team environment, with caseloads that are optimal for a doctor who likes to keep a steady agenda with a balance of medical and surgical cases.

Responsibilities

Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
Maintain patients’ medical records.
Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
